Cancellation & Shortening of Stay Policy
To save any misunderstandings please review our cancellation policy, as we can rarely make exceptions to it as we are a seasonal business.

With COVID-19, we are continuing to adapt our cancellation policy to be relevant and fair to upcoming guests from various regions. As such, please contact us directly with any questions. For instance, if travel is not permitted between PEI and your home Atlantic province for your travel date we will provide you a full refund of your deposit.

A deposit equal to the rental rate for one-night stay is payable upon making a reservation. 

The following policies apply when cancelling a reservation for a stay in July and August:
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before your arrival date will result in a $50 administration fee with the balance of your deposit credited back to you.
  • Cancellation 30 days or less before your arrival date will result in forfeiting your deposit.
  • For stays in May, June, September and October the cut off date is lower at 10 days instead of 30 days.
Requests by guests to shorten their length of stay of an upcoming reservation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The balance of payment is due upon arrival and is non-refundable.

Special policies apply to group bookings of 4 cottages or more in July/August and for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival time period. 

We recommend that you safeguard yourself against unforeseen circumstances by purchasing vacation rental insurance. 

We do not accept pets during July or August. We welcome small well-behaved pets in the off-season of May, June, September and October.
